Mr. H Schady

Mr Howard Schady was with Volkswagen Group Africa as General Counsel since 1997. When Howard retired in June 2025 he held the position of General Counsel, Company Secretary, Head of Compliance and Member of the board of Management at Volkswagen Group Africa. Prior to 1997 Howard was a partner at Joubert, Galpin and Searle Inc. for 7 years. He is an admitted attorney and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a post graduate Bachelor of Laws (both from Rhodes University). Howard joined the Volkswagen BBB-EE Initiatives Trust in May 2025 as a Trustee. He supports the business with his extensive legal, governance and compliance experience.
